My 3 Summer Fashion Must Haves

Summer is finally here! I feel like we went straight from Winter to Summer here in Cali, and I’m kinda upset about that because I just adore Spring. Buut here we are in 90 degree temps so I guess I’ll embrace it and bust out the blow up pool any day now. Yes I said blow up pool, and no it’s not just for my kids. My husband and I jump in that guy too. We like to keep it classy around here 🙂 So besides the blow up pool keep reading to find out my favorite fashion must haves.

FLOWY DRESSES 

I know what you’re thinking, “Josie you say flowy dresses for every season.” This may be true but I just love them so much ya’ll. Light pastel colors are so chic for summer. This free people dress has to be my favorite one I’ve seen all season, dare I go as far to say all year? It is what dress dreams are made of my friends, and honestly deserves a whole blog post of it’s own. I am obsessed to say the least. It comes in 4 other colors but this baby blue just has my heart. It does run a little on the short side. I am 5’8 and sized up to a Small for length, and it is still just a tad short on my daddy long legs. But it’s not hoochie short so I can get by with it. I may wear this all summer long, don’t judge me. Its great for the day with a pair of wedges or sandals. For a night out I would dress is up with a pair of nude pumps. It can even be a great swim cover up. Let’s just call this baby a jack of all trades. It is pricey but trust me it will be you favorite purchase you’ve made this year. WEDGES

Wedges are a great summer shoe! At first I was not at all on board with the wedge trend. But it sure didn’t take long for me to see why everyone loves them so much. They are comfortable, easy to walk in, and go with almost everything. I’ve linked a few of my favorites for you below!

SWIMSUITS

Of course it wouldn’t be summer without a swimsuit. I use to be a die hard bikini girl. You would not have been able to pay me any amount of money to wear a one piece a few years ago. Then I had kids and they wrecked my nice abs. Plus one pieces are just so cute now (lucky for me)! If you find the right one they can be so very flattering as well. I actually even like them better than two pieces now, to be honest. Throw on a pair of cutoffs over your one piece and a shaw or lightweight sweater and you can go from a day at the pool or beach to a casual night out in a cinch.I am also digging the high waisted two pieces.
