5 Ways To Style A Bodysuit

Hello 90’s… I’m sooo happy all your trends have circled back around! The 90’s is hands down my favorite fashion era EVER. Rachel Greene aka Jennifer Anniston has to be my all time fav style icon! Now, of course I love me some Carrie Bradshaw style just too, but Rachel’s style is the best. I’m just so happy overalls, high waist jeans, Bodysuits and even scrunchies are making a comeback. Because I’m not gonna lie I still rocked most of it, even though it was not in style, so now I finally fit and I’m on trend! What?!

Bodysuits are such a fun fashion statement and a lot easier than you may think to style. Today I’m going to share 5 ways I love to style bodysuits. If you’re traveling bodysuits are a great option since they can look totally different depending on how you pair it. Which means less to pack and no having to pay the extra luggage free! Yaay!

ONE: High-waist Jeans

This is such a cute way to pair a body suit, plus it showcases that pa dunk a dunk ladies! I wanted to go all with my 90’s vibes so went with Levis and of course distressed jeans. The high waist sucks you in so you don’t have to worry about your food baby showing after you eat. One thing about bodysuits is they are not forgiving, but you can hide that with a perfectly good pair of high waist jeans. I went with a skinny pair again to really stick to the 90 vibes I’m feeling but it would also look amazing with a pair of high waist flares! Click here for some flares I’m loving right now.

TWO: High Waist Paperbag Pants

At first I didn’t know how I felt about the paperbag style, but after I tried them on I instantly was a fan. I looove the top and how high they come. They are flattering and feel like PJs. I for one, am all about that PJ life so naturally these became a new staple for me. Plus they’re light weight and perfect for summer.

THREE:  Overalls

Of course a bodysuit is the perfect match for a pair of overalls, and double win it also covers that food baby! But ya’ll already know I pair anything and everything with overalls, so its not a big surprise I have this one on my list. And could I be anymore country wearing my overalls without shoes? Aren’t bloggers suppose to wear shoes at all times? I don’t know why but something about overalls makes me want to be barefoot.

FOUR: High Waist Shorts

Seeing a theme here yet? Bodysuits and high waist everything will be found in my closet now! But I love how a body suit looks with a pair of high waist shorts. Plus a tie or a belt around the top adds a great little tough. I’ve linked a few of my favorite pairs of high waist shorts for ya’ll below.

FIVE: Skirts

We’ve come down to the last way to style that bodysuit and it’s a skirt! I’m loving the midi and maxi skirts lately but if short skirts are more your thang they look chic as well. You can even rock a jean skirt if you’re feeling like Kelly Kapowski! Can we just talk about Saved By The Bell The Max pop up restaurant that just opened up? It looks like such a blast and I’m totally living vicariously through everyone’s pictures. Who’s ready to go to So Cal with me for the weekend and see it for our selfs? My 10 year old self would have been in heaven!

Hope this  helped ya’ll  get some ideas on how to style a bodysuit! The options are really endless. If you have any questions about anything feel free to comment below or message me on instagram. I’ve also linked a few of my favorite bodysuits this season for ya’ll down below… Now get you one and start rocking it ladies! The 90’s are back and here to stay!!!

Ahh this post makes me want a bodysuit now. I lack imagination with clothes so this is definitely food for thought.

I totally love bodysuits … no rolling fabric and keeps everything tucked away 😉 I love how you styled this one piece in different ways! Great post.
