Spring is Almost here! It’s kinda bitter sweet for me, because I love, love, love my winter sweaters, and staying cozy, all bundled up on the couch with my babes. Who’s with me?! But I also love warmer weather and being outside! With Spring coming so soon I’m getting prepared and decided today I’m going to help you get ready for spring by sharing a few of my Spring essentials.
My all time number one Spring and Summer essential is a spray tan or self tanner!
My all time number one Spring and Summer essential is a spray tan or self tanner! I love a little color and know its not good to lay out in the sun to long, so self tanner is my saving grace. Plus it covers all my little imperfections! I’m chasing 2 toddlers around everyday so I don’t always have time for a spray tan, and when I don’t my go self tanner is St. Tropez Express Mousse. I’ve tried a million different ones! You name one and I’ve most likely tried it. And I’ve always returned to St. Tropez. The color is a nice golden brown, not orange or muddy. I do apply it a little differently so here’s what I do.
I use the mitt and apply 1 layer to my entire body (yes face too) then I wait 20 minutes and apply a second layer. On the second layer I skip my hands and face. After I apply the second layer I wait 3 hours then shower! It’s so easy and you don’t end uo with self tanner on your sheets.

My second fav thing for Spring hands down is dresses and overalls! You can never go wrong with a cute dress and I just love a fun girlie dress for Spring! I love over the knee boots with dresses and Its a great way to transition into spring. One of my besties always makes fun of me because of my love for overalls but guess what they’re finally back in style so now I’m cool when I rock them and not just that funny hillbilly girl wearing her overalls again. Now let’s move on to a couple of my beauty must haves for Spring. First is CC Cream or tinted moisturizer. For spring and summer I usually only wear foundation for an event or night out. For everyday I always go to my CC cream. I like more of a natural dewy look for warmer months. I’m obsessed with It Cosmetics Illuminating CC Cream. This CC cream still gives a nice coverage, in my option, and leaves your skin with the perfect about of dewyness (is that a word).
I also loooooove Becca Cosmetics Illuminating Skin Perfector. I use the color Opal and its ahhhhmazing! I apply it all over my face under my foundation or wear it solo for no make-up days. It gives the perfect healthy glow. I also use Becca Shimmering Pressed Skin Highlighter to highlight my cheekbones and nose. Yesss I love all the glow I can get. Shop all these products below.
